After serious law and order situation and disturbance in Khuzdar, the second largest city of the Province of Balochistan, Fasihuddin was sent as District Police Chief of Khuzdar to engage the community and restore peace through peaceful means of policing. In his first two weeks he chalked out a strategy of community engagement by contacting with local notables and politicians of the area like ex-Chief Minister Sardar Attaullah Mengal, ex-MNA Mir Bizen Bizenjo, Home Minister Mr. Zafar Zehri and Chief of Jahalawan Sardar Sanaullah Zehri and others. Fasihuddin called upon local traders, doctors, women NGOs, intellectuals, media and military officials in the area. He gave a speech in Army Public School and College on Peace and Education and visited the University of Khuzdar to motivate its students and staff for peace and normalcy. He also gave a speech on Role of Women in Peace at Girls Degree College. The confidence of public in state institutions is gradually restored. Others preventive measures have also been taken.
