Prof. Qibla Ayaz:

Prof. Qibla Ayaz (Endinburgh University, Scotland) is a well-known scholar on Islamic studies and contemporary issues like Islam and modernism, inter-faith peace and Islam and modern political thoughts, etc. Currently, he is the Chairman, Department of Seerat Studies, Faculty of Islamic Studies, University of Peshawar. He has presented his scholarly works at many international conferences in Turkey, Cyprus, Croatia, USA, UK, Norway and the Netherlands. His special interest is in making sense of the present day radicalism, violence, terrorism, intolerance and sectarianism in light of the true Islamic teachings and injunctions. He is supervising many young researchers and scholars who are working on religion and crime.
