Dr. Basharat Hussain:

Dr. Basharat Hussain, Assistant Professor, is currently teaching in the Institute of Social Work, Sociology and Gender Studies, University of Peshawar, KPK. He is a PhD inCriminology from Hull University, UK. In addition to his research activities, he takes personal interest in social work, promotion of human rights, and especially providing all kind of services to the Child victims and juvenile offenders. His publications also include women’s Economic Contribution in the Agricultural Field (District Swat). His aim is to promote criminological studies in Pakistan, and reduce the gap between academics and law-enforcement officials. His personal efforts in making linkages between students and teachers and scholars and police are commendable.
